FIFA World Cup Scarf design inspiration for the Czechia
Czechia’s World Cup scarf was inspired by the tile pattern on the roof of St Vitus Cathedral in the center of Prague. Construction first started in 1344 and while the structure in place today barely resembles its earliest incarnation, St Vitus is still the largest and the most important temple in Prague.
Red, blue and white from the national flag appeared on this World Cup Scarf design and the final result was a striking scarf that looked at home in World Cup stadiums.
